How to Use

STEP 1.
Ensure your vehicle is clean and thoroughly dry before storage. Wipe off any excess dust or surface particles to prepare it for the Cocoon. Check tire pressure and inflate to the manufacturer’s recommended level to help prevent flat spots during storage. Thoroughly clean the undercarriage to remove dirt, salt, and grime.

STEP 2.
Open the Cocoon and lay the vinyl tongue (the flat, extended flap) on a clean, flat, level surface free of debris. Make sure there is proper drainage nearby to prevent water pooling under the Cocoon. Position your vehicle so that the vinyl tongue is at the front, with the rest of the Cocoon fully opened and spread out behind it. The seamed end with the zipper(s) should be at the rear, ready to zip closed once the Cocoon is pulled over the vehicle.

STEP 3.
Carefully drive or roll your vehicle onto the vinyl tongue, centering it precisely. Take your time to avoid sudden movements that may shift the cocoon placement. Make sure the vehicle is soundly stable and positioned so the Cocoon can be pulled over smoothly.

STEP 4.
Slowly and carefully pull the rest of the Cocoon over your vehicle, ensuring it moves smoothly without catching or snagging. Take care to keep the zipper teeth away from the vehicle’s surface to avoid contact that could cause scratches. If the Cocoon catches or snags at any point, gently back it off and try again rather than forcing it. If the Cocoon gets ripped or damaged during this process, please contact us immediately for assistance.

STEP 5.
Locate the zippers and zip them closed towards the rear of the Cocoon to seal it securely. Once zipped, enjoy the peace of mind knowing your vehicle is safely tucked away and protected until your next use.

Clean and Dry

Ensure the Cocoon is clean and completely dry before storage to prevent mold or mildew growth.

Fold Carefully

Fold the Cocoon gently along natural creases to avoid stressing the material or damaging the internal liners.

Use the Provided Travel Bag

Store the folded Cocoon in its included travel bag or a breathable storage bag to protect it from dust and pests.

Store Indoors

Keep the Cocoon in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures to preserve material integrity.

Avoid Heavy Weight

Do not place heavy objects on top of the stored Cocoon to prevent crushing or deformation.

Check Periodically

Periodically unfold and air out the Cocoon if stored long-term to keep it fresh and ensure no damage has occurred.
